Cough finally clear up!

Been soo bad over the last 24 hours I have now lost my voice.... some say it's a good thing, but bloody sore throat and coughing is not helping matters

Anyone else going through this crap? Been over a month now and getting worse!

It will clear up for three weeks .. Then it will come back with tight chest and swollen tonsillis . Mine has been going since november this is the 3rd attack.

Cannot seem to break it.

they even say bless you when you sneeze and Bad cough now

My doc told me it's a different cold/cough every time. ..had it on and off since Christmas ish... feels worse than ever today

yeah OP had a cough for most of Jan and Feb, standard GP response of "it's viral so will clear up of it's own volition" and after about 7 depressing weeks it did. Sadly that's not a lot of consolation for ya, best of luck

Was told its a super bug, anti bionics to sort it out. ... made the bloody cough stronger!!

Don't feel like eating because it hurts my throat, and coffee gives me heartburn!!

I've had a chest infection on and off since November, and it's still not cleared up properly. Every two or three weeks I get a flare up and have to return to my GP for prednisolone steroids and antibiotics.

When it's bad I struggle to even shower without gasping for breath. Fed up with it now.

Lucky you! My doc won't give me prednisone, and they have just taken me off symbicort too. ... The only things that help breathing!

Knowing how well prednisone works, I would rather have 8 tabs a day for a short course. .. not likely though as I was addicted to them many years ago
