Easiest answer - yes it exists. After all it's Easter today and I love chocolate for one thing.

Absolutely exists

My first love passed away 2 years ago, not a day goes by that I don't think about her, high school sweetheart, they say life goes on and yes it does but my world is that bit more empty without her

Yeah I reckon it exists , and I am with mine now . We've been together 6 years and not a day goes by where she doesn't make me glad to be alive . We look forward to every day together , and even miss each other when we are apart for just a day !

Sabrina is my third wife , and the first two were OK to begin with , but after a year I was bored of them and the initial feeling had gone .

So it probably wasn't true love .....

This time it certainly feels like it is

Sometimes I wonder Whether it's better to have loved and lost than never been in love at all?

If you have truly been 100% in love and had found your Soulmate and for whatever reason that person is no longer in your life.

Do you use that experience of true love as a bench mark for all other relationships?

And if true love comes along but once in a lifetime?

How can you settle for anything less than that again ?

Hence my.... Is it better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all question?

When I was a teenager I used to fall in love with anyone and everyone, met and fell in love with my husband when I was 17. I don't think people always fall in love with people who are right for them though, love is blind as they say.

A family member of mine married a woman and he changed and not in a good way.

he became like her.

How do you know, that was your only true soul mate though ? For example, if you're widowed - would your true love that died want you to live in mourning for the rest of your life or to seek out love again?

Once 30 yrs ago and again now with my darling baby girl, who has proved to me that you really can't help who you fall in love with and no matter what the challenges or obstacles, when you find the right person, you should go for it.

There are different types of true love. I fell in love with my ex wife fairly quickly but it wasn't love at first sight. When my children were born it was instantaneous. The same happened with my two grandchildren.

Although I wasn't too happy when my 5 year old grandson rang me up at 6am to thank me for his Easter egg...but I'll blame my daughter for that.

Never experienced it till now and didn't realise it really existed until now . Soulmate is a good way of describing it. To be with someone who makes your heart skip when they enter the room, who you can share everything with with no fear of being judged , your best friend , your lover.

Was that a bit deep for a swingers site?? Lol

Yep I believe we can have many soul mates and also believe in twin flames as well.I consider my wife who I'm split from my soul mate despite the fact how bushings went then met her stepsister who was a dominatrix instant connection and been told she's the one whos my twin flame. Yes it exists x after so much heat ache I've had over the years before I met my partner. I was on the verge of a total melt down. The day I met him change my life.

Met him on a dating site he offered me a guitar lesson. From the 1 time I saw him I just turned into jelly. After 3 days of smiling he finally took me back home then fetched me back the day after and I never went back. Still I smile everyday and go like jelly when he's near if we at wor and my phone goes and it's him i get butterflies . Not only is he my partner, he my soul mate, best mate, my rock. There isn't anything I would change about him.

Yes. It's a feeling you have for someone, and it might not be reciprocated but true love is the feelings you have yourself.

It's based on chemical reactions that happen inside your body and brain but you can feel it emotionally.

Yes. I really felt like i would die for them and their existence was important to my life.

No. I love myself more. They didn't love me in the way i wanted them to, which you cant expect people to but you don't have to put up with what you don't want to stay in love.

Yes, and i have done this. You don't see people only having one kid because they cant love anyone else the same way, this applies to all love because humans are unique but not that different.

I think you never stop loving someone you've loved, even if not with them.

I've been with people i thought loved me, and in their own way they did, but it wasn't in a way that was what i needed or wanted.

Neither of us is perfect but we are perfect for each other.

It is a second marriage for us both and we have been together 16 wonderful years now.

I feel the same as Glowswingers. I miss Cal if he is away for just one night, on the rare occasions he is away for work we speak at least once a day.

I am so soft that I even miss Cal when we go back to work after some time off together, because I get used to him being around.
