Though I do wonder if the Iraq war was a Christian crusade or had nothing to do with religion. Hmmm.

Ps: thanks for murdering more of your own citizens than people killed in WW2.

You have Mao and the Soviet Union to thank for that one.

They've been doing that as an expression of faith in the Philippines for decades.

Doesn't make it right though does it? Self harm in the name of Christianity. We have thousands of Filipino people working in this country. What if they began instilling their brand of Christianity on us? We have to have strict border controls and checks so we are not letting these people in.

It's religious madness. I don't agree with any of it, from God down.

You want to get nailed to a cross for the sake of some dead god? Fine. Leave me out of it.

As a Christian I really don't think that people should be crucifying themselves. According to the Bible Jesus sacrifice himself and suffered so others wouldn't have to so it all seems pointless and setting a Wrong Example.

Oh and just about every modern War has fuck all to do with religion so can all these self appointed moral guardians please not use the actions of a few deluded people as an excuse simply to bash Others For their faith and beliefs. Ta in advance.

I'm always curious how some people deduce that the older wars had much to do with religion given that they happened in a period where there was no separation of Church and State... if there is no separation then how is one able to distinguish the motivations so easily!?!

If someone questioned BDSM they'd be told to mind their own business and 'each to their own etc' but cos they love pain in a different way they are called barbaric.

Some love sex. Some love God...... all fucking wierd and one no better than the other.

Self flagellation for BDSM condoned on here but not for religious practice. Actually, the way some proselytise about their sexual practices (and their atheism ) it is almost religious.

Bow down and worship my arse.

"Only if I can nail it to a hot cross bun!"

My buns would be hot and cross if you nail them to anything. You can balance a hot cross bun on my buns and accept it as symbolic nailing.

They choose to do it; fine you may not like it; but no- one is forcing them.

And do you really think that the Filipino residents in UK are going to suddenly start nailing you to a cross?

Get real;

Now I have been to places where people have been crucified, for real, as a punishment and for being the " wrong tribe" or the " wrong religion".

Or where people have been whipped to death, and worse ways of dying;

That is worth worrying about

I can't be fussed about some religious " enthusiast" who chooses to be nailed up.

Oh by the way; if you are crucifying someone for real; you hammer the spikes through the wrist bones to ensure maximum damage: in this case it's carefully between the bones in the centre of the hands, so that you do no lasting damage; this bloke has done it 30 times so far.
