Poxy shifts

I can't be the only one who has totally shattered sleep patterns due to shifts?

Worse is that soon I'm off to New Orleans for Mardi Gras after working 4 nights...my body won't know what the hell time it is.

I don't do shifts any more, although I do have to do some out-of-hours work fairly frequently and I'm on-call a lot which leads to disturbed nights and fixing faults at 3:00am.

However, some of the guys I work with do 12-hour shifts, and their work pattern is 3 days on 3 days off, 3 nights on 3 nights off.

That must be a real head fuck if you ask me.
