Chai is a spiced tea (you can get normal chai teabags in your local supermarket) - think of lots of lovely cinnamon notes and you get the idea.

I love caramel lattes too, so you may well like chai latte since it's quite sweet. Pretty heavy on the calories, though! X

An idea my husband came up with was for a Tassimo, a high calorie coffee but once a week is fine

Use a latte glass cup add 2 tablespoons of custard and fill to 3/4 with milk, whisk using an electric whisker now place in the microwave and heat, once heated use the Tassimo and add an espresso coffee and whisk again, now for the finale is to add a creamy layer of squirty whipped cream,

Sit back and enjoy and put those calories on

Used to occasionally call by Costa for two coffees beifre the shops open. Two Cappucinnos. £4.30. Jeeeez. Ok. Went again recently. Same thing. £4.50. Nah. Sorry mate. That's taking the mick. So. Never again. Waste of cash. Buy a Tassimo. Nespresso. Dolce Gusto or their ilk. But you can't justify that in anything like a regular basis. And Starbucks ar even worse! Best place for a cheap fancy coffee for half the price is ....Subway. Even McDonalds competitive. Never thought I'd hear myself say that, readers. Grrrrrrr. And another thing ......

Thocht it wish jist me lassie. Folks go there every day en rout to work. It must cost them 5 x £2.25 a week = £12.50 x 52 = £650 a year. Cos it's not that much daily it seems affordable. You could buy ten coffee machines for that. I dunno. Habit I suppose and creeping price increases. Cheeky sods. Still if there's enough mugs out there ....
