You have to take them but be led by the others about wearing them.

You'll feel very left out if covering up is compulsory and you don't have anything to wear.

Don't take shorts that auto-inflate when in a jet stream though. It's highly embrassing trying to talk over a large bubble of material that resembles a parachute.
