Contacted by an ex

Has anyone ever been contacted by an ex they cut ties with years ago?

Sometime last year, I get a letter in the post from my first ex who I cut ties with years ago as she had one of her boyfriends texting death threats so I changed my mobile number. Apparently she wanted me to get in touch as she was in prison. I didn't want anything to do with her with how she was with me in the past so I sent the letter saying "return to sender. No one known at this address". Haven't heard anything since then which I'm glad to be honest.

What did you do in situations like this?

I have to be in contact with my ex because we had a child together, he dosent bother to see her more than once a month even though we say he can see her whenever he likes, he and his missus used to have little one every other weekend for 2 nights until his missis got too big for her boots and tried to keep me from my daughter, she tried calling the police on me for forcing my way into the house (my ex was at work and knew nothing until he finished) in the end the police said I was in the right since I'm the primary career and classed what she did as kidnapping

Yeah. She used to be a nice girl when we first got together even though she was blind and diabetic and I was 17 at the time. We had remained friends after we broke up in 2007 then she became a complete bitch and when the death threats came in, that was when she went too far so that was when I changed my number and slept like a baby ever since

Also, everything is my fault because I moved away and took his daughter, I had to apologise for not putting my life on hold for an ex

Yeah i met up with an ex a couple of years ago.. we still have feelings for each other and have had a couple of wee encounters, will always love each other just dont think we would get back together

Never been contacted by an ex, I think they're pleased to see the back of me but I did bumped into one when I was checking out of a hotel a few months ago. Didn't recognise her but she heard the receptionist say my name. She is not in prison !! but she does live abroad and is recently divorced so we might keep in touch!

My ex sees our daughter every fortnight.he's been with someone else a year and randomly sent me a message last night saying he missed me!!We split cos he cheated..A leapord never changes it's spots and all that...he's tried to have 'fun' with me several times over the years since we split..always when he's with someone else!just makes me know I made the right decision!

Ones dead, one i see around all the time and we just say hi, dont know what happened to most, ones a really good friend as hes lived with my friend for over 20 years. Ex husband rang me over three years ago now when my dad died.

The last one texts me about once every six months just to see how i am. There is one im curious to know what hes doing. We where together just under two years and the day we split up and he left mine never saw or heard anything again

we have a 5 bedroomed house she wrecked the house before giving me the keys .so I decided to just continue doing the repairs and get it to a high standard that will piss her off lol
