Thay spen 1000s go all over usa with there kids from 2 up in glitzy beauty pagents so much make -up and hair like a 25 year old and everything is fake skin so tanned it looks orange mums so competitive thay get so bithey .. the children look like dolls ... been on sky alot showing them at pagents ..I feel sorry for the kids .. Sure some may love it but when you see them crying not happy i cant help think why make them do this.? its not the money as thay win very little.

I saw a programme about this a while back ... they even put fake teeth over the little girls' ones when they start losing their milk teeth so there are no gaps. It looks dreadful - they're like little Barbie dolls and the mothers are so driven it's painful to watch. Just awful!

living vicariously through their children, revolting behaviour, its tantamount to grooming i think, sexualising them at a far too early age.

I just hate it when thay cry and dont wish to be doing it ... I would never done that to my children .. what on earth drive them to this. Fame maybe not sure.

I think it should be called paedovision, and it really is quite disturbing. I remember a very emotive thread on here about babies with pierced ears, but these pageants are just way over the top.

Yeah its awfull isnt it very sad little girls cant be little girls anymore they are forced to grow up so fast It reminds me of dog shows people are so cometative and spend so much money I feel sorry for the dogs being dragged from show to show they even use mascara on their noses to make them look shiney
