Somewhere in North Norfolk

I don't think I've ever borrowed something and not returned it.

Although I've lent a few things that never were returned or when finally returned were knackered in some way.

I'm now in the camp of "never a borrower or a lender be". I prefer now to give things as gifts instead if I feel so inclined.

Borrowed £20 from my mate and he had a fatal heart attack 3 days later, so every year in his birthday I donate £20 to the British heart foundation

A house. My brother let me stay in his when he went to New Zealand for six months. Over a year later he said he was staying there for good. So I bought it off him.

I don't borrow cos I get really anxious about it... Like what if I ruin in by accident or something like that...

But I lend enough things out and never get them back..

I still have a copy of Bob Dylan's book Tarantula, from Colwyn Bay library that I took out when I was 14 .

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Pride and Prejudice from school in an old cardboard and cloth cover and binding.

I saved it from being thrown out in the clear out of the old books.
