I've just spent the day armed with my petrol hedge trimmers fighting defensive planting around a doctors surgery into some sort of order.....judging from my arms and legs the plants won.

There's some evil bastard plants with thorns like razor wire!

For the first time in my adult life I live in a place with a garden. I have no idea how to trim the bushes!

Did you choose your name because of the shop?

I have a picture at the shop.

I chose the name for its meaning/because we use the word in my family and long before I knew about the shop.

Yeah I just saw that in your pics. I thought I'd done well picking an original name, obviously not! Also I keep getting mails from guys calling me licky spit

I had to add the 's' to the end as the name was taken. There's someone else who uses the forum sometimes with the same name. Guys send lick spit messages to me too - or assume I must lick and ask if I have a female friend that I can bring to meets.

Now, back to bushes - topiary is not my thing but I do like some of the obelisks and balls.
