what do you believe

We have all these theories about a higher power ie god but how can you be sure that god is there and why I it people who believe in aliens or the illuminati considered crazy this is a subject that baffles me we know their are secret societies of influential people like the skull and bones so why is it so hard to comprehend that the illuminati are real when people believe in god that they cant prove is really there it makes no sense that people can believe in god but are not considered crazy

Because the illuminati hasn't actually existed for a long time, that's why.

But there are groups of people doing what people are claiming an illuminati is doing.

As for a God, what's so unrealistic about an invisible sky daddy who knows everything you do and judges you for that? He knows before you even are going to do it yet is still gonna jyudge you, he is the ultimate omniprescence. Makes total sense.

Apparently the sky daddy gave us free will (despite his omniscience).

All this we know about, that we can sense, it came from somewhere. People try to make sense of that. We have created some words that can describe something that has never been proved possible, and we have the imagination to imagine things that can not be real with the evidence we have now...this is also how science progresses into further investigations btw (think higgs boson).

I have seen some better theories made by enlightened people on what god is, and they do make more sense than any corrupted religion does. Still no evidence they are correct of course, you just have to go with your gut instinct on what is possible, what is true or likely to be. But not what your bias agrees with. So you need to come to your own conclusions with evidence you have to hand, and it's the same for conspiracies, and i do believe some of them yes. Many have evidence i understand, many do not so i cant make a decision about them.

I just remember that God did not create mankind. It was the other way round.

The Iluminati existed briefly in Rumania....they were not very illuminated as, apparently, or so I have heard, they professed the world to be flat. They were "revised" and given much more status by famous bunkum author Dan Brown.

Aliens, given the vastness of the multiverse, must exist somewhere...but too far away to ever make contact.

You can't see gravity, nobody really knows how that works either but we believe in it because there are ways to prove it exists (we don't all fly off into space).

If some people want to believe that something created everything, and for a purpose, then it's likely they have a bias towards that way of thinking. I think once you start making rules based around natural laws then there's a problem because we have the ability to do so much more (both harmful and good, although not everyone will agree on what is harmful and what isn't).

If everyone agrees in something it doesn't make it true, just it makes life more harmonious between those people. That's why religion is a strong force to deal with. People naturally want to bond with others.

A lot of believing in a god or number of gods, is fear of death and not wanting to think, that's it. It provides comfort at times of loss. Also of wanting to belong and having a faith can give people a sense of belonging.

Aliens - I think there has to be something else out there or I can't quite understand, that somehow we are just some one off phenomenon in the whole universe. Not sure we will ever find life out there before we all cease to exist, but sure we will keep looking.

See I just can't believe that

It just makes no logical sense to me

I believe we are here for the same reason as ever other animal, we are born to reproduce and die

That's the sole purpose for our evolution and exisitance

For me there is no logical reason why there would be spirits, ghost's or after life, everything happens for a reason and for me I just can't think of any reason why we would need to carry on after death, death is nature's way as telling you your no longer required

as somone who has watched lots of conspiracy stuff and stuff on the universe and aliens.

I am open to the possibility of alien life

I am open to the possibility the world is flat.

Do I know with 100% accuracy that all those are true, no I do not but I also won't deny the possibility that they are.

I believe there could be advanced civilisations and advanced beings in terms of being that know more than us about reality. I don't believe in God in the traditional sense. I believe in evolution but open to the possibility that someone or something maybe interfered with out evolution. Then again...they are saying that Chimpanzees are in their own stone age as they use stone tools so maybe it is just evolution.

I think the Bible is talking about Sun worship and talking about the stars and constellations. Some of it could also teaching about how to live better and uses metaphors such as "God"/"heaven" = consciousness and "sin"/"Hell" being ego. And some of it could be describing ancient UFO sightings and interactions with alien beings as well as other more ancient texts and hieroglyphs.

I think the mainstream interpretation of the Bible a bit dull and probably not true.

I think it's possible that we aren't the first civilisation of this solar system when you look into the structures and building on the moon and the idea the Saturns moon Iapetus maybe is artificial....maybe....

I don't know much about the Illuminati stuff though.

I also believe that the 21st Century is the make or break century for us Humans. I think we'll find out a lot of amazing things in our lifetimes...I hope....

you've no proof of aliens, you wouldn't even know what one looks like because no-one has proved they exist. yet you've even said that you've seen depictions of them on pyramids, and think you've seen one of their spacecraft (referenced to an abnormal spacecraft anyway that you consider evdience).

just change anything that applies to alien for god in the above paragraph (and anything else you're trying to prove) and you should get what i mean about contradicting yourself.

i do agree it makes little sense to believe in anything without proof, but now you kind of get an idea now why some people believe in god without evidence, or with biased evidence? and it is mass belief that makes it so something is normal or abnormal.

I believe there is a form of Illuminati in existence, although it's far flung from the ritualistic, lizard people theories some people put forward, and equally far from the 18th century organisation from which the name originates.

As for aliens, they probably do exist. The universe is so unimaginably large, I'm sure others lifeforms do exist out there, somewhere.

And the Gods of organised religion are false, created by man to exert control over his fellow man. I do however, believe in some form of higher power, but see no use in trying to work out what that power is. I'm happy just living my life and trying not to be an asshole.

unfortunately I dont blindly follow anything I look at things from every perspective before I make a decision or come to an opinion I do believe there is a higher power not a god but something on a spiritual level that give us strength and guide us but that's more a subconscious

This debate crops up on a regular basis.

So many people provide their rationale based upon what their intellectual comprehension of what they know and perceive.

Truth of the matter is there are many things that we as humans don't know or have the intellectual capacity to fathom.

So on that basis,if you can't prove the existence of a God. ...you can't prove it's non existence.

As usual, most of the evil is down to human beings....no one made you do it you know! It's freedom of choice.

Most people who believe in a god perceive that everyone believing in any other god is totally wrong. I just add one more god to that list of gods that don't exist and include their god too.

As for people influencing global direction of policies etc - sure, I'd imagine a fair few of them, behind the scenes. I've no clue if a special society is needed, when you're incredibly wealthy. In many respects, the power is with the masses, as we collectivity know far more than some crackpot bunch of ignorant tosspots.

The hole concept of religions is a strange one the way I see religion is it was created to devide people like it has done through out history and still does to this day.
