back been a bit sore ths past few weeks...refuse to take the diazepam the docs always try and foist onto me....and have had more epidudurals than a serial surrogate......so just emptied a can of it onto my back......think i over did it

Not sure what your medical condition is, but don't refuse the diazepam so readily. It's not just coo-coo juice valium, it can actually relax muscle and soft-tissue injury effectively and help repair it.

broke my back bout 15 years ago....narly 90% of movemet back in legs...but every nw and agin evrything stops working for up to 4 days....wo't take pain killers bcause i like to feel te pain...it lets me know when to slow down....the aches are just bit severe just now...trying to avoid another hospital trip for as long as i can....am really a cowrd

Pain-killers aren't always just there to kill pain - they can also be anti-inflammatory and can reduce muscular swelling. A lot of back pain comes from the muscles surrounding the spinal column swelling and either being "nipped" by, or rubbing against the vertebrae.
