Earth hour is a great thing. Good initiative to spread awareness. Just need a sexy woman to spend that dark hour with! Could well end up abusing myself!

South East Midlands NOT

If everyone did this once a week we'd save so much energy!

I'm at a party tonight, I doubt we'll be doing earth hour.

Halifax

I didn't know(but do now)!Ta.

Will get my candles out too then.

It'd be cheating if I had the telly on, right?

Or the laptop.

Which would mean no messing about on Fab.

Hmm..

Nice bottom by the way Ms Fox.

There's actually a timer on the website, it doesn't start for another 8hours. 1:30am

It says this on their website:

"Earth Hour 2016 will be held on Saturday 19 March between 8.30PM and 9.30PM in your local time zone."

I thought we were synchronising with other time zones but obviously not, it's just running concurrently through zones.

hmm. Could introduce the kids to this idea.. bedtime cuddles and stories by the light of the hurricane lamp, followed by the 12hr candle lantern as a nightlight.

sounds... very nice and cosy. yes.

Chams or Socials

We've been taking part for a few years now just switching house lights off.

I already turn off everything possible every time I leave the house as recommended by fire brigade when fitting my smoke & carbon monoxide detectors

Earth hour was first introduced back in the roman times,to highlight their Man made climate change problem.

it was much easier back then,as they had nothing to turn off.

Although their climate change problem, was almost identical to the man made climate change problem we have today.

I was going to say I missed this but it would be more accurate to say I didn't notice it!
