I have a cordless dyson. The animal one because of my dogs. Brilliant bit of kit. Vacuum's my small 2 bed house in 10 minutes !

I've wanted the Dyson cordless for some time but concern that he battery wouldn't last long enough has deterred me.

It's good that there's one positive feedback from a user here

The battery will last about 20 mins on normal and about 6 mins on turbo. Not that long but enough to do my house. Never need the turbo even with two dogs.

I may look at one then, our current hoover does nothing unless you actually push it around the house... even then it hardly seem happy about it.

We've got the Dyson cordless and yes battery last 30mins max, but the upturn side to this is that because it's so easy and effortless to use hoovering the house isn't a chore, therefore you house stays cleaner because your willing to use it more often, so 30 min battery life will do your house when you've got use to using it

I put off buying a Dyson for ages because of the price. That was about ten years ago. Now I would not buy any other type of vacuum cleaner.

They are pricey but they suck like a tornado on overdrive. Apart from the high purchase price they are cheap to maintain. I have my 'in use' Dyson and an old one I canibalise parts from. People are always selling parts on eBay as well.

Not tried the cordless. Dysons are so powerful I would wonder how long it would last on a charge?
