I use the word very deliberately because some of the best charities I have ever witnessed working have folded because they were not run in a business-like manner. Good will and good deeds don't pay the rent on the premises. Even the loveliest tiny charities operating with just £5k a year need someone who understands the difference between the income and expenditure columns. | |||
