Can't believe it, but I lost another 4lbs this week that's 14lbs in a month. Will have to change my name to Arfur soon, coz I'll only be 'arf as big, lol

Kate has stayed same, mind you, she hasn't eaten much this week, family stuff and all that

I have got to lose some weight and definitely in time for my holiday in July. I have started to ditch the bag of crisps at lunch and to cut out the bar of chocolate at night time. Need to start exercising more, so ill start jumping when it gets a little warmer, we have a huge trampoline outside and I figure it looks an easier form of exercise than the gym

Wegthwatchers Pro Points - Excellent ! That's all I can say about it.

I (Bob) have lost a stone in 4 weeks and by weigh in time Friday I hope to have lost another 2-3lbs.

Sandie has lost about half that over the same period.

Beauty of the Pro Points thing is that you can eat and drink anything you want, provided you don't exceed your points allowance.

Try it - it works!

Well done Bob, and Sandy too.

We go to Slimming World, but don't ask me what routine we are doing. Kate prepares all the meals and I just eat it and wash up

My target is to get down to 14st by end of March.

I've lost 1st 2lbs in 5 weeks, but I'm still wearing the same clothes which seems bloody strange to me.

I've lost some of my upper body strength though. I'd say at least 10% since I started the diet

i've not weighed myself, i just go by my clothes i wear. I was a size 18! in november, I can now slide my size 14 jeans off without undoing them. I eat cereal bars, satsumas, bananas, a sandwich and a proper meal at night time. On my feet for most of the day at work.

Even better that it doesn't feel like proper exercise- you'll be able to stick to it- hence why I have large dogs to walk- running around with them isn't really exercise, but it keeps me at a good weight

Everyone seems to be doing well!

I had a bit of a blip yoyo-ing! Lost a lb put it back on, lost a lb put it back on. For about 2 weeks or so there thought that was it, still carried on though!

Upped the exercise to 1 hour a day.

Hey Presto! lost 3lb in last 8 days!

Thats 33lb in total now!

Keep up the good work everyone!

Well done Karen. Im my first 5 weeks, I've been slimmer of the week twice, and slimmer of the month too. And I had a week where I put on too, lol. Have lost 16lbs so far. Only got 13lbs to get to my target weight of 14st.

Strangely though, all my clothes still fit, only had to tighten my belt a little bit.

Everything is falling of me now, ive just bought two new skirts size 20, they are gypsy skirts with elasticated waist but they fit fine. Im either buying cheap stuff or getting stuff of ebay as im not spending money on stuff im only going to be in a short while.

Your doing really well jack and im sure you feel so much better.

I didnt loose much last month but it works out im averaging 2.5lb a week and im happy with that, My next target i set is my 4stone so only 6lb to go.

Cant remember the last time i felt so motivated about anything, amazing what a damn good shock can do to the system lol

Up to 36lb off now, averaging a lb a week, so not too bad, now down to size 14. One thing I have noticed normally when I lose weight my boobs disappear as it all seem to drop off the top half first. Due to exercise I have lost 6 inches off hips, 4 inches off waist and only 3 off boobs plus kept same cup size. Delighted. Even took some new pics!

Keep it up everyone!

Well done it feels great and seems more real when you get into clothes that you couldn't before.

I did the same last night with a pair of skinny jeans that I only bought because they were reduced to £2, I really never thought they would fit me.

Gained 5 1/2lb on holiday, think i only got of that lightly cause i got straight back into it yesterday.

Cant wait to get it back off giving myself a couple of weeks to shed it.

It has made me realize that i could never get up to the weight i was again. I feel disgusted for over indulging.

Did things on holiday that i wouldnt have been able to do 6 months ago.

After my weekend of birthday celebrations I lost 1/2lb this week which I'm chuffed about, and Kate put on 1/2lb.

Going to set my target weight next week. I'm thinking 13.1/2 stone, so that's 8lb to go

I haven't been under 14st for over 20yrs, mainly due to pumping iron, lol and drinking beer

The biggest downside to my weight loss has been my loss of body strength when I'm at the gym.

But on the plus side, I've got new smaller size clothes. Sold 4 old suits on ebay and raised nearly £100 too

I still have about the same to loose again...

I am running race for life in 12 weeks and am now getting ready for that.. at the gym 5 times a week now and expecting to see the weight falling off.. but yes.. taking it off slowly should be a good thing..

But I am impatient now.. lol

I have to be careful though as in my youth I suffered with eating disorders my dancing caused.. so I have to try not to get to food obsessed..

when you have a lot to loose its a life style change. Also the discipline. Im doing more exercise, supposed to be starting swimming once i find out the times. Walking is so much easier and you naturally have so much energy. I ate crap on holiday and only cause it was there i seriously didnt want it. My body doesnt like fatty foods now and i also know when im full. Im due for my annual diebetic check in the next month or so that will be interesting. My bmi has come down by 16 already

"do you all use a slimming club or just do a healthy eating plan of your own? "

I spend the money I would spend at a slimming club going to the gym.. I lost all my weight before with weightwatchers so went long enough to have all the programme then quit going.

I have lost 1stone 7lb in the last 2 months of my diet..

I dont really follow ww to the letter now. but i have a good idea.. and I never deny myself a little of what I fancy..

But then I can eat chocolate still if I want it..and knowing I can makes me less likely to have it.. its when food is denied that you crave it more..

Hence I detest slimming world.. yet I know people that swear by it.. but for me having red and green days would drive me nuts.. as some days I fancy pasta.. :D and if I cant have something I just want it all the more..

( except with sex.. the more I have of that the more I want)

My bmi has come down from high 40s to low 30s.. and hopefully in the next month into the 20s..

I have changed a lot but its also part of how my Master controls my life.. I have exercise as part of my daily tasks..Master loves me as I am.. but as my Master he likes me to be the best I can in every aspect.. So losing weight benefits me in so many ways..

Not least some naughty fun we have planned for over the summer..

I do slimming world. On the new extra easy you can have pasta as well as meat and/or jacket potatos. Nothing really you have to go without as you also get sins. So you could have chocolate or crisps everyday as well.

Different diets suit different people. My mum has always gone to weight watchers but we have just had some new people start from there. Its what suits the individual

I did carnegie clubs with my daughter last summer 12 week health, fitness and lifestyle skills they were fantastic a group/team 4 hours every saturday had lifestyle classes plus activities and excercise its all about changing your mind set and the reasons why I over ate and comfort eat both for me and my daughter. Part of it was hidden calories and where they come from and portion control was great we would have seperate classes away and together with the kids plus would end with team games rounders, basket ball etc. And I swear by the eat well plate.

Hey, sorry for joining this thread late. I'm a big fan of Weight Watchers as well (although I used the old points scheme) Last year I lost 7 stone in 9 months following it. It's the first time I'd really tried to lose weight but loved the flexibility of it. It definitely encourages you to make informed choices about what you eat and endorses a change of lifestyle as opposed to a quick fix which inevitably means you put weight back on. I did a shit load of exercise as well which obviously helped but without wishing to sound like a smug wanker I didn't find it hard! And I still drank at weekends and went out for nice meals regularly!
