I have started writing a thread only to delete it before posting lots of times either because after reading it they don't come across as it sounded in my head or they are just rubbish

e.g

Ladies do you or have you used the shower head on yourself,

Recommend a friends only picture by the date,

In fact this could of been another one

What are your reasons for starting them,

Curiosity, Boredom or just for fun

I wrote up a whole post today about Plato's Symposium because I thought it would be funny posting it in a "forum" - I was hoping to start an interesting discussion about the various Greek words for love, and about the different types of "eros"....

But then I figured it wouldn't get any replies so I deleted it.

Haha, I started Pointless or The Chase about 5 yrs ago and had no replies til Jim resurrected it a couple of weeks ago when he was bored

I like history anything Greek/Roman/Egyptian, I have Iliad and the Odyssey but I couldn't get into it,

I don't think I have the intelligence to understand it

This sounds great.

I often have ideas for threads but decide at the last minute not to post them. I often think no one will be that interested or they'll just turn into the usual shitstorm, so I end up not bothering.
