Because everyone loves superheroes and Batman V Robin just wouldn't have the same appeal. And Lex Luther isn't as good looking either.

Because at the end of The Man Of Steel film, Superman was fighting that bad guy and caused a lot of destruction so Batman thinks he is a threat to mankind because of the destruction caused during that fight. And he is attracting bad Aliens so Batman thinks he'll sort him out and kick his butt off the planet!

Superman doesn't like batman because of his methods in fighting crime. Bruce doesn't like superman because he's a god, and if he turns bad, they've no chance of stopping him. Its explained quite obviously in the trailers??

I'm assuming because it's based on e graphic novel "The Dark Knight Returns", in which Batman does indeed fight Superman. I hope so, because it's a really good novel. Don't have high hopes though because I hated Man of Steel.

It must be Ben Affleck, I love comics and I'm a fan of DC but I just shook my head when I found out Affleck was going to be in it. He was crap in Daredevil too.

Affleck is a good actor and director, those people that are getting hung up on Daredevil need to remember that was a long time ago.

Affleck is great as Bruce and Batman, and Gadot is fantastic. These two hold up the entire film.

The problems with it are bad directing, poor plot, random sequences that I assume are for future films but don't really make any sense here, and the awfulness of Luthor.

And to the dude above who felt the need to spoiler - really not cool

I love how his facial expression doesn't change throughout the whole film. Its not a terrible film. Its just not a very good vehicle for either batman or superman. I think suicide squad will be the unsung hero

laughable end monster

aquaman looks pish(small snippet of him in the film), he's been a regular sci-fi actor in a few pish films and GOT..I'm certain his own aquaman movie will suck beyond belief.

I liked the dream sequences....

I liked some of the cinematography.....

Some of it was very creative....

Having two fav super Heros fight over a miscommunication was pathetic and some acting / directing was poor..

Maybe it's better in 3 D
