To all the Irish, and like me half Irish, quarter Irish, and all the plastic paddys who once stood next to an Irish man, and now embrace the culture, all are accepted, none shall be turned away, just get your round in, and enjoy.

May you be an hour in heaven, before the devil knows your dead

We are going over to Cheltenham later, so will no doubt be having a drink with lots of the Irish over for the races. I love the atmosphere.

My great grandad was from Ireland, so I'll have a Guinness in his honour.

I can't be bothered to retype it all so I'm going to copy and paste what I wrote on an earlier St Patrick's Day thread

To all our Irish friends and acquaintances, Happy St Paddys Day! I hope you celebrate your Patron Saints day in style!

If you're English, no manner of 'comedy' leprechaun's beards or Guinness hats can justify you being off out on the lash and celebrating like a loon : your Patron Saints day is in just over a months time, on April 23rd!

So to the genuine Irish, have a great day!

To the faux Irish, give your head a wobble!

This is the Thursday rant thread, right!?!
