I don't have a toolbox, hate DIY with a passion, buy my cars mostly on aesthetics and enjoy literature, wine and a nice sit down over anything (hot sex with B and lots of other people excluded) I wouldn't be seen dead in a gym and would rather a nice t jacket than any kind of sportswear.

I enjoy literature as much as sport .

Art and diy

Good long country walks . Day Tim and night time too.

I dont attended a gym though I do regular weights and things at home.

My blow torch is kept in my kitchen cupboard. I use it for melting the sugar on my creme brûlée

I am a mix:

I hate football ( and most sports ) though I am extremely good at shooting.

I hate beer and pubs; dont drink spirits, but like fine wine.

I am a professional engineer , and used to build and race cars, and motorcycles , but nowadays refuse to do anything except pump up the tyres and put fuel in.

I like stylish clothes; I have long hair and get it " done" by a hairdresser.

I like opera, ballet, theatre, modern art, classical music, literature, and hard rock and blues.

I prefer to socialise with women rather than men; I find men's conversations extremely boring.

A reasonably eclectic mix.

It seems I sit somewhere in between the stereotypical "bloke" and the "non bloke".

I am more concerned with the amount of money footballers are paid, rather than how they play and who they play for... I don't really enjoy watching any sports. What's more, I prefer wine to beer, am very open about my feelings, and, as a result, much prefer the company of women. Conversations with other men, especially "blokes", often feel trivial.

On the other hand, I'm obsessed with cars and car culture, and have been know to frequent the gym once in a while

Reading through these, I can see I'm more of a bloke bloke guy.

I'm a football fan, into cars, have a small toolbox (mainly for basic car/mountain bike maintenance), goto trail centres now need again on the bike, and quite happy sitting in pubs drinking ale or bitter...

do I like the finer things in life ? No not really I don't drink much although I can, I don't really watch sport much but enjoy rugby and squash I prefer to play the sport,I don't go to the gym ,I'm not interested in cars don't have one at minute ,I have however taken an engine out and put it back and achieved most repairs ,I am a carpenter and can build a house from the ground upward ,I enjoy the arts ,history and architecture,I enjoy travelling ,I enjoy people but I don't enjoy snobbery,I don't smoke and never have ,I enjoy good food ,I enjoy a debate ,I suppose I don't fit this thread as I enjoy everything

I don't have any great interest in any of those things (I do like sport so I don't mind football too much).

Art, literature, science and things of that nature. Those are my interests. I don't drink, so I don't want to hear about your d*unken antics. Cars, I only care if it's working or not...anything else I don't care about. DIY...boring! The gym...dull! Mobile phones...I cannot think of a more boring subject to talk about.

Give me the company of women any day!

I love football and also love to read and write poetry.

I was seeing a nice man like you for a while. He would cook for us and after we would drink some wine and talk about Alan Bennett plays or something of that ilk. He had never seen a gym either. He had a large collection of striped shirts and ties and a sensible car he had no idea what made it work. Non-blokey blokes are nice to be around.

I'm a definite mixed bag. On one hand I am very alpha mans man (yes I can build and fix things, I have violent hobbies, an extensive toolkit and spend lots of time chopping logs with a big axe)

On the other hand, I am well read, look after myself, I love cooking and am a little bit anal about cleaning and I have a range of expensive mansturiser products and toiletries and I am happy to converse on a wide range of topics. Except team sports. Just don't get them..

Nothing wrong with it , I think these days an " image " is promoted onto us much the same way magazines etc do to women , must be this size , wear these clothes etc , i got a family pack instead of a 6-pack , the only machine i liked in the gym was the vending one , i cook, read , like comics , geeky things , films and good tv shows , even go as far as saying i like a good rom-com , but also like going out with my mates for a few now and again , taking my lad to the football , i turn my hand to most DIY things, do spend too much time looking at clothes , its all about who you are i guess and not just a carbon copy of what modern media etc promotes you to be

Diversity makes this World the fantastic place it is... Ignore labels and enjoy being yourself. Some of us are so embroiled in the macho World you talk about that we'll never be ourselves, mentoring and leading by example to ensure that some are ready to defend the very life choice so many have... I know loads who prefer t, stimulating conversation and the arts, macho is just a label created by those who think they are more equal than others my friend...
