Lady Penelope RIP

on the road to nowhere in particular

Sylvia Anderson, wife of Thunderbirds creator and the voice of Lady Penelope has died at the age of 88. She had recently been suffering from Alzheimer's.

I was more of a Captain Scarlet fan myself but enjoyed most of the Gerry Anderson series except Joe 90

She was a bit of a pioneer.

yes lady penelope was a big part of entertainment for kids on tv in her pink fab 1 with parker and International rescue you could clearly see the strings holding the puppets as a kid it added to the novelty of it along with brains and his chemistry expertise not forgetting the others... sad day indeed RIP. Ma lady.
