As they are so popular which ones do you recommend and what flavours tried fruity flavours but just don't get kick from them. So anybody managed to kick the fags with these and any recommendations on which ones to use?

Sorry you can't beat tobacco. It's yummy. I don't want "vanilla sponge" flavour as I'm not a child. I want a blend of Latakia, Oriental/Turkish, Perique, and Virginia leaves, smoked coolly and without rush, while i enjoy a good single malt with my feet up.

I kicked the fags with one in December. Don't go anywhere near those cheap e-cig pens, they're utter crap and you'll quickly drift back to smoking (ask me how I know). I highly recommend getting something like either the Joyetech Cuboid or Eleaf I-Stick 100w mod boxes and an Aspire Cleito tank but if that is too costly the Innokin CoolFire 4 and an Innokin I-Sub tank will work sufficiently (but you will end up upgrading).

As for liquids if you're using any of the above stay away from the stronger nicotine liquids, they'll take your head off and you won't stick with it, I quickly dropped from 1.8% to 0.6% and now I mix between 0.3% & 0%. You ideally want to look at liquids with a higher VG to PG ratio too, I tend to favour 70%VG and above as too high a PG content gives a harsh throat hit.

Flavour wise you can get pretty much anything you can think of, my favourite is Cuttwoods Boss Reserve which tastes of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, fresh banana and milk.

I tried one of them and the wee inhilator didnt like them.. i stopped by using champix tablets will be 3 years off them this November

I wish I could remember the one I tried in the local vape shop. Just remember it was about 60 quid and the flavours were a tenner. Trying to kick the fags myself and need to get one of these things. They had some really nice flavours too. There was a custard one which has was really nice as well as an orange one, which tasted like Starburst. I have one for too, actually I have two. Very effective and means I can cut out the doobies as well as the fags.

there is a flavour called bijou which is lovely I use an e-leaf istick tc40w not smoked a cigarette since October ( apart from nights out because it looks weird in a club!)

I tend to favour custard or creamy flavours too. One Pound Liquids do a really nice chocolate & banana liquid which is pretty much my all day vape but their Cloud No3 and Grape are also excellent beat of all they're just a quid for a 10ml bottle, all pharma grade VG, PG and nicotine and the flavourings are food grade and contain no dycetyl (the nasty stuff that has been linked to popcorn lung in high doses).

I use a smok X cube2 £65 and works upto 160w and also temp control and a tfv4 tank with a 0.15 quad coil which gives amazing clouds and flavour and relentless do a great glazed doughnut flavour but new regs mean soon will only get 10ml bottles and tiny tanks so stock up now guys or u will be paying huge shipping from the states

You won't be paying hug shipping from the state's there getting it the same some place are banging them all together but that even if it get passes witch I don't think it will

Buy everything from Gearbest. Usually less than half UK prices and free shipping. All genuine stuff too.

I thought the Smok quad coils were kanthal wire, you shouldn't use them in temp mode if they are. Only nickel, titanium and stainless steel should be used in TC. Kanthal and nichrome are wattage wires.

I was on 40 a day and paid £40 for a curve ecig I use a tobacco flavour in my vaperisour. I started on 2.4mg and after 3 months I moved down to 1.8mg I have now been of them for 8 months and looking at stepping down nicotine strength to 1.2mg soon

If you're new to Vaping then its gotta be a regulated mod 1 of my favourites is the rx200s its nice and cheap and goes up to 250w if you update it, pair that with the new tfv8 from smok and you'll be well away.

Like somebody else said though if you're going subohm anything over 3mg nic will hit your throat too hard and put you off so you'll end up going back to fags.

I have kanthal in the quads and and I have 0.12 ni200 for temp so don't worry as complete differnt tanks so just switch output

We're both fully electronic now.

M runs a Balrog 7 mod, primarily with a Goliath II RTA but sometimes with an Aspire Triton 2.

L runs a Smok M80+ with a Goliath 2 RTA.

Fluid wise M brews the family juices, flavours wise at the moment we have Lemon Sherbert with a hint of Koolada, Jamaican fireball rum, Black Jack, Menthol spearmint and Mocha. All are brewed at 7.2% nicotine strength and 50/50 ratio. Could go higher but it seems to favour a wider variety of coils and in homebrew isn't harsh at all.

We've tried some shop bought ones recently, in comparable, slightly lower strengths and it's just knocked us sick, don't know if it's additives or what but I wouldn't vape anything from a shop now unless I absolutely had to.

Word of warning:

Don't use the TFV8 or any Amok tank with the RX200s. The 510 connector on Smok tanks is too long and it knackers the 510 on the RX meaning it won't accept any other tanks after a while.
