Are there any guys that can read properly?!!

Not newbies and been around the scene over 10 years on and off but why can't guys bother to read a profile properly???

So frustrating when your profile clearly states 45 - 60 years old only and you get a 26 year old messaging you. Similarly when it says send a photo or have one on your profile and they don't!!! Aaaarrgghh Or they are bi/bi-curious and you have clearly stated that you are not interested. Or are we just lacking in patience?

I think it's filters you're lacking, that would at least resolve the under age issue.

a lot of them can read but ultimately don't care.

some apologise for not being what you're looking for also but...

and some don't read.

doesn't really bother me any more tbh, i do expect these messages plus i have all men blocked from messaging me most of the time so am not getting this stuff all the time now.

True....too many are expecting others to come running to them...If you do then expect alot of rabble too. I think those times are slowly changing....know what you want and go and look for it...don't expect 'it' to come looking for you.....put ur filters on and search.

Yup...this

Ideally yes. Everyone would read and respect profiles and all play nice as pie but it's never been like that. It isn't like that and probably never will be like that so if it fusses you...filter everyone out and look yourselves for precisely what you want. It's a pretty easy fix to be fair

Just open your profile to receiving messages on specific days and times, such as The first Wednesday and third Tuesday of alternate months between 8.10am and 8.23am. Make it tougher for the inappropriate to get through.

Why don't they send pics etc? It's to help you filter out inattentive potential partners.

I got called ugly yesterday on a forum so I won't read there profile and I tried to send a message to myself by accident and it wouldn't let me and that's my own profile

I always read profiles before I message but I think i need glasses or can you change your profile to large print but I think mostrich guys see boobbies and dive straight to message or maybe do your profile in pics with cards with profile written

Seems there are two schools of thinking on this one..Some say it has the tarring all with one brush effect...Some say it makes the rest stand out.

I go for the latter...god bless all the idiots..If they were all lovely well spoken polite blokes with great Craic (is that how it's spelled?) Then fuck me...it'd be soooo hard to get a meet it really would.

but having said that...A few do tar all with one brush but they seem to be minority as far as I can tell so yeah for the guys I think it works out far better not to have that level of competition.

I'm a bit jaded and cynical in general but I judge everyone on their behaviour, not that of anyone else.

Except last night when I was tired and two guys were messaging me at the same time and I got them mixed up. That got a bit untidy

And I think for the most part people are the same...They take folk as they present themselves but I'm sure I've seen it said on here before that people have become a little cynical of the single man etc..again though I do thinks it's a minority thing and I can kinda see why some people would.

In the main though I quite like the state of the market and certainly don't care for the idea of crowding the place with brilliant guys. Great for some but not for the guys.

Sounds like a messy set of conversations were had....

Never type tired I guess..well...not to more than one person anyway
