I think it is a protest vote and a warning shot across the bows! The unlimited immigration that Merkel has allowed has angered a goodly proportion of the populace. That and the backdrop of the sexual assaults that took place at the New Year and the apparent increase in crimes won't help!

One million on top of the normal immigration into a country is going to cause problems, that is plain, but how can they deal with it now?

Personally? I think she was stupid to allow uncontrolled entry, but only time will tell how this will pan out!
