A lot of people/animals became insulin resistance when injury prevented exercise. | |||

I would agree, but it can make a substantial difference to insulin resistance which may have a significant bearing. A lot of people/animals became insulin resistance when injury prevented exercise." True, it's a help for a number of reasons. Increased muscle = more calories burned even at rest and increased metabolism for a while after exercise etc. There are loads of benefits. It's not enough for serious weight loss by itself though. | |||
