Ideas for a short birthday break.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

My birthday is coming up in a couple of months. It's on a Sunday this year.

For personal reasons, I'd like to get away somewhere. I could go with friends, or to visit friends, but I want to be away from family and family friends.

I can't afford anything lavish, so no cruises or anything, but a long weekend break, either in the UK or Europe is feasible.

I could go somewhere intending to go to a club, or I could go somewhere to shop, or spend a couple of days wandering along a coast and sitting on a beach.

Give me some ideas, please?

My birthday for the last 3 years basically hasn't happened, so I want this year to be different.

Jerez. 20 mins from Airport then sip wine in the sun and if Sherry floats your boat you are in the right place.

Go to Venice. I've been there and it's worth it although food is very expensive I must say.

I made a similar thread recently so some of the suggestions there could be of use:

The Garden of Eden in Beautiful North Wales

Camping in the back garden like you did as kids.

Very cheap and if you get fed up you can go home in 2 minutes!

Chams or Socials

"Budapest or Barcelona "

I want to go to Budapest but people keep offering to come with me!!! My friend went a few years ago when her partner & a colleague were working there. She spent 4 days in her own wandering round. The photos were stunning
