Do I get up so early at weekends?

Jools can lay in, but for some reason 6am and wide awake.

Yet,we both work and up at 5:45 every morning and don't get in till after 6.

So every morning I struggle to get out of bed and feel grrrrrr. Swear that come weekend I will lay in.

But come weekend wide awake.

Same here. Have to drag myself out of bed and force myself awake all week yet by the weekend boom, I'm wide awake at 6, being tortured by birds chirping away outside.

I feel my best during days when I get up as soon as I wake up.....

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

First weekend I've been able to have a lie in since Christmas and I've been awake at 8am both days.

I don't mind waking up early when I don't have to work, the difference is that I've woken up naturally rather than having an alarm clock going off and forcing me to wake up

Central

It's apparently ideal to have a regular sleep cycle. Or so I try to comfort myself, at weekends.

It's the curse that is the body clock! I do the same struggle to get up in the week. yet when I know I don't have to get up my brain is like "let's wake up now!"
