I find it hard to choose between Bewlay Brothers or Green Tambourine by the Lemon Pipers for my funeral song... both mean such a lot to me..." The 'B' side of Green Tabourine was called 'No Help from Me' or something very similar - that was a piece of totally useless information and the only reason I remember that is because many many years ago I worked in the Radio/ TV trade, repairing the said items. One of the 'records' I used to test radiograms was Green Tambourine and another song by Johnny Cash - Folsom Prison Blues if my memory serves me right )) Radiograms - who remembers those eh ? I must be old cos I remember them

I must be old cos I remember them " I remember them they were a step up from a little 'record player' and a lovely bit of furniture! I couldnt tell you what was on other side of Green Tambourine but thank you! My cousin had a dansette and that was her one and only record for a while and she used to let me put arm across and let it drop and place the needle if it came off the edge! I was chuffed that she trusted me at such a tender age!

"laughing at 'Dansette' and 'Needle' those are 2 words that you rarely hear nowadays .. " my dad had a pub, the jukebox i guess was leased. every week this bloke would come and put 4 or 5 new singles in it. the old ones were left at the pub and i would keep most of them. this went on from when i was about 12 til my dad retired when i was 31.i moved out when i was 20 but the records remained at the pub and i was their 'custodian'. when my dad retired and sold the pub i left them there.in the celler in boxes.idiot. i still hoard things now
