Casshern. It's one of my favourites.

Super hero/apocolypse type of film if you like those.

Agreed!

Or my best fiend. Kinski is kind of in it in absentia. Jaw dropping when Herzog visits the apartment he grew up in(and where Kinski boarded for a while)and describes how he smashed up the bathroom for some trite, paranoid reason. Guy was insane(clearly).

Casshern is intense. Not sure I understood it but intense visually nonetheless. Nice choice.

Anything Tom Waits does is worth sitting up and paying attention to

Re-watched Night on Earth recently. The soundtrack is amazing

Some cracking stuff on here.

Tom Waits was quite funny in Seven Psychpaths the other night.

Love the face and that voice.

Yeah thanks, i thought so too.

I think i get the story but had to watch it a few times to get everything, basically an arty zombie film pointing out corruption too, there is loads going on in that film so it can take a few views to get everything.

I rewatched Night the other day(so to speak)for the first time since it came out: did you find Winona Ryder irritating? Her performance was just a bit jarring I found.

Ooh:

Man without a past.

Rushmore.

Untouchable.

My neighbour Totoro.

House of cards.

Dead Man.

Night of the Hunter.

Withnail and I.

Slow West.

I quite like Winona, although I would agree that she overdoes the kooky in NoE.

- Death Sentence (VERY good film with Kevin Bacon!).

- Drive.

- The Ridiculous Six (Adam Sandler. Pisstake of "The Hateful Eight").
