I sometimes see on profiles the same verification by the same person seems pointless to me I've met some people more than once doesn't mean I need a verification for each time . Thoughts?

Some folks see verifications as a bit like getting a gold star.

I always threw my gold stars away in disgust, never wanted to love by anyones rukes, not even my own lol

I did my picking early over that now my point is and I'm sure lots of us have repeat meets and don't see the point of having it verified every time we meet

My thoughts on the matter are as follows:

It's not worth starting a thread over, there are enough verification threads going to have just made a comment in one of those.

It's up to the individual which (if any) verifications they show.

It can be a positive thing... at least it shows they have been considered good enough to ask back again.

As a negative it can sometimes say more about the person who wrote it than the person who shows it.

It's often funny when 2 or more (often women) start playing verification wars on some poor sod's profile.... a bit like gate post pissing.

On another site, only the latest verification is displayed. It's written into the software.

I dont normally verify a second meet to be honest (unless there's a real gap in between) - but when people verify me for a second time i think its only polite to post it x

It maybe pointless to the OP but as so many other threads have proven most on here take no notice of veris ....sometimes it can be done as an in joke, sometimes because its something they do.

I think the reason I posted this was due to something earlier got a message from someone who had 5 veris from the same person and no others the other profile was the same only veris fr that person was thinking are these people the same and just verifying each other

Seen that too, and yes, it is mostly women sadly! Thing is that would put me off meeting the man.

I really don't give a toss about verifications. What people choose to show on their profile is their business. I have a mind of my own so I use that when it comes to choosing whether to meet people.

I never pay any attention to movie re_iews either... same thing. Someone else's taste isn't going to be the same as mine.

No not pointless at all, if i meet someone socially, i verify them, if we then meet for fun, i verify them whether it was worth it or not. On the other hand, ive a regular guy i see so have only verified him once

i hide all mine since some nasty cow messaged everyone on my friends and veris and told them something very untrue about me . id met someone she was infatuated with and she was jealous ....no one really took any notice of her but it wasnt nice .......

i had someone do the same to me on verifications so mine are hidden as well, or its the guys who read them then want to know what happened and what you did, how good was he in bed etc, em what happens on a meet is only who is involved and thats the end of it,its none of your businees was my reply
