Well I was born a little late for Punk the first time round, but love The Undertones, Stiff Little Fingers, UK Subs plus many more. Really want to go to Rebellion Festival but it keeps clashing with family birthdays

Bit too late for punk. Can remember growing up and being fascinated by the hair. The Punks always seemed to be running away from people back in those days. The Football lads would always be chasing them about town for some reason.

People say that the Beatles were the most influential band ever, and when it came the way songs were written, yeah, its true, but punk changed the world, it made music, and being in a band more accessible, it gave those who didn't have an abundance if musical talent, a way to express themselves musically, and it gave youth a voice, and without punk, nothing would have changed, no one would have challenged the establishments, so although the importance was lost on the sex pistols as they sat swearing in tv, they were doing more for their, and subsequent generations, than any government if the time.

Johnny rotten, we salute you

A few of my friends are punks. Some of them help organise benefest in Morecambe and a few other bits and pieces. I go to nice n sleazy on occasion too, another little Morecambe punk festival.

a friend plays bass for d-liberate (local Morecambe punk band) along with a couple of ex cosmic fingers band members too. Met them through fab in a roundabout sort of way lol

Can't say I like or dislike the music too much either way (though I do love the Laggan ...If I've spelled that correctly) but I find I quite like a lot of the people who populate the scene
