Florida Naturist Holiday Help

We are off to Florida in the summer and I am looking for advice on choosing a nice naturist (non Swing) site to stay in.

Holidays for us mean time to relax and chill, get an all over tan and read books etc. All the normal things.

I have found Cypress Cove in Kissimmee and the Paradise Island area near Tampa.

As naturists, this will be the first time outside Europe.

Does anyone have ant experience and pointers of good nudist resorts to stay in please?

I've been to Florida,,,, Kissimmee... a number of times and in all honesty it wouldn't be my first choice as a relaxing holiday destination ....

It caters more for people who intended exploiting it's location in relation to the many theme parks and that in itself can be a far from relaxing experience.

I wouldn't recommended any long haul destination if the priority is just to sit in the sun and relax....

But have a great time wherever you go... ......

Hi Soxy, thanks for the guidance.

It has to be Florida as it's a special holiday but I take on board your point. Kissimmee is out then as we are not going there to go to any theme parks.

Sightseeing special places and visiting textile friends on days out.

Have you ever been to ant nudist resorts away from the Theme park area please ?

I wouldn't completely discount Kissimmee, it is a vast area and is very convenient for shopping and restaurants if you need a break from all the excesses

I can't remember being made aware of any nudist specific locations in the area......

The Florida climate is a very energy sapping and the distances between places of interest necessitates spending a lot of travel by car which makes having day's-out hard work........

I have been looking at a place called paradise lakes vacation near tampa which is a nudist resort and was hoping that someone might have been there, or somewhere similar.

Thanks for all the advice though it is much appreciated in working out what to do.

I'm not the right person too offer that sort of advice......

My idea of a holiday is visiting places of cultural and historic interest and I'm fairly ceratin that if I were caught wandering around a museum exhibiting my bollicks for all to see it might raise more than just a disapproving eyebrow or two .....
