York Country inn advice

I am staying in a country in near york, unplanned btw. room is excellent. Do i leave a tip for the cleaner etc? Currently getting my evenin meal and not sure about tipping the woman serving behind the bar either. not done this for years so whats the usual thing to do?

In restaurants and pubs I usually too if I'm eating (in pubs) I've never left a top for room attendants in hotels etc though.

I always tip cleaners as I imagine it's a tough job and they've often done well to get a room prepared for me very quickly.

Meals - it would depend on the service etc.
