Sadly if you need certain cancer drugs the NHS can't afford to fund it ?...the good news is...if you just fancy a tit job they can fund that

Especially if you've been abroad and had a hatchet job, they'll do all your 'repairs' .makes you bloody cross

I think it's sad that a decision is made solely on cost, but it may be more about 'will it make a difference to the long term'.

may, I have no experience

Sorry, I should have been clearer.

I (me) (as in me).. I have no complaints about the NHS.

actually I do have one complaint and that's to the disgusting wankers that set parking charges at hospitals, but that aside - doctors, nurses etc. have only my admiration.

What I don't understand is all these charities for cancer resurch and when they find a breakthrough drug the NHS can't fund it so why are we, the every day people, raising money to find drugs that we, the every day people can't have

If only the rich can afford the very best treatment let them raise money to fund the resurch

even AXA PPP & BUPA members wont get access to new drugs unless fully tested, most private medical cover do not pay or cover the cost of medication, they cover the initial cost of investigation & treatment then pass on medication to your GP to prescribe
