I have. I had a pet lizard and those beggar locusts escaped to the airing cupboard where they somehow managed to survive for years. I can't really blame them as they were just avoiding a nasty death.

But if they had looked like cute little puppies, it would not have been a problem (apart, perhaps, from the barking).
