Kissing's definitely an essential.

As an experiment, try barely kissing someone during sex, then at a later date with the same person, try using kissing as foreplay and working your way out from that instead of just ripping each other's clothes off. The world of difference.

We don't passionately kiss the people we meet. I would like to say that I'm not a prostitute and sex with me isn't like sex with a prostitute. When it comes to actual penetration both of us find that far less intimate with comparative strangers than kissing and would never dream of criticising people who think differently to us on the subject. However some people who do kiss find it acceptable to criticise those of us who don't.

Would it not depend on the meet? I love kissing but depending on what I might or might not be up to - kissing my not be possible? I've never met anyone who didn't want to kiss but I've been asked the question. I guess some couples want to keep something just for themselves?
