I've just got the Kik app.

Does it only do text messages? Is that it?

It's good as you don't have to give your phone number out and you can log in and out when you don't want to receive messages

Snapchat is ok for vids n pics... I do use kik but get bored with it after a while xx

, particularly the not needing to give out numbers, also you can block. We find it very useful as a couple also, as we can do threeway chats (we're here for mfm meets)

Doesn't seem as good as Skype. Which can do voice and video calls too.

And also doesn't give out your phone number.
