Really?

There seems to be a certain type of gentleman who wears shorts 365 days of the year

I'd rather avoid any chance of frostbite, thanks

Saw some guy wearing shorts on Saturday while I was shivering at a bus stop. Do some people make a bad choice and decide to brave it covering their pain well or, do some people just not feel the cold?

Any chance to wear shorts I will, around the house most of the time all year around

I won't wear them outside in winter unless popping into shops before or after gym

I always wear shorts for running, I hate being too hot in longs. I don't know how my female running buddies run in them all year.

I'm surrounded by student lads, many of them sportsmen, who wear shorts for much of the year. Great legs to see.

I used to wear mine to work on the building sites up until I was 30ish , it snowed one day before the windows went in and I nearly ended up in A&E.

I must admit I have already gone out in cargo shorts a couple of times in the last two weeks.

I ride my bikes every day and run year round in nothing but shorts come rain or shine. I've tried riding in longs..even longer compression leggings and I just can't stand it.

After riding through the last couple of months every day you don't really worry about wandering about in shorts on a lovely sunny march day like today!!

It's quite a big kitty (I think well into 3 figures) that the last man standing wins. They all put a tenner in at the start of the year

You must be cold riding in shorts all year round?

Never to be honest..if you are it just means your not putting enough effort in. As someone else pointed out if it rains you dry out quicker too.

The only place I get cold is thru the vents in the helmet and in my hands and feet but a good liner hat and gloves but plenty of welly soon warms you up.

The only time I really felt it was too much was in early January when I rode from bristol down thru cheddar gorge and back. As I rode down thru the gorge and lost the morning sunshine it was so mind numbingly cold it felt like my head was being crushed and took my breath away.

Soon as I reached the bottom and turned round the steep climb back up soon warmed me up ok
