Smile were an English rock band based in London, best known as the predecessor to renowned rock band Queen. The band was formed in 1968 by Brian May, who went on to become Queen's guitarist. It included Tim Staffell as singer and bassist, and later, drummer Roger Taylor, who also went on to play for Queen. They recorded only six songs and disbanded in 1970.

Thank you.

I'm a huge believer in paying it forward.

The chances are if you do something nice for someone they're more likely to do something nice for someone else.

The cycle repeats.

Monday is £1 lunch day from 02. I usually buy them and pass them on to the myriad of homeless on the streets.

Off to a funeral shortly, so will be looking out for opportunities to brighten the day for others.

I do like the random acts of kindness approach, it does lift people up and spread happiness.

I try and do something nice for a stranger every day - and I like the idea of setting off a chain reaction of kindness and smiles

It totally works. I once bought someone breakfast and another guy had the same idea. When he noticed I had given the guy breakfast he bumped in to his colleague and he gave her his spare breakfast. That made me smile. X

Yesterday I put £1 in the trolley in front of the one I got out - thinking that would cheer me up if I couldn't find a quid at the time. I noticed an old lady came up and smiled as she noticed that she didn't need to pay for it. She prob thought someone had forgotten it. It wasn't much, but she liked it.

I let a guy go ahead of me at the til in the supermarket today, because he had less items than me. He barely gave me a glance, let alone a thank you. A new till was opened 20 seconds later, as the one we were queuing at was getting quite busy, and he rushed past me to get to that one.

Ungrateful, rude thundercunt.
