I think J R Hartley has finally been put to rest.

I have just seen the new advert for Yell with Day V Lately.

The loss of Hartley seems like loosing an elderly uncle.

May he rest in peace

The new advert doesn't seem to have quite the same impact as the original one

Good twist though and is this the start of recycling adverts?

This new ad is an outrage and a pale imitation of a fantastic concept. Mr Hartley would be turning in his grave. Its blatant capitalising in an economic climate where yellow pages is being lost in internet culture, while failing miserably to deliver a decent online version they are clinging to a delicate fishing line of a long forgotten era of simple pleasures like flicking through inky pages to find service you neither need or can afford.

I'm writing to my MP or summat...
