Conor fought well but was beaten on the night by a better fighter, the change in weight didn't seem to hamper him. Will be interesting to see if Diaz will give him a rematch or if McGregor will step back down a division

Still think Ewan vs Cameron every time anyone starts a thread on this. I then genuinely do ponder which of the lovely stars of the silver screen I'd back and I'm pretty confident it's the lovely Ms Diaz every time.

I can't get over the fact that Ms Diaz looks a little bit like the Moog from Willow th Wisp

He got brought back to earth with a Bump! He and Dana will move heaven and earth for a rematch. The money would be huge!!!

No harm for him to get taken down a peg or two. Hopefully his attitude might change a little now.

I'm glad he got beat, I watched an interview with him and Diaz, instantly didn't like him, he's arrogant & a prick.

Well done Diaz

Does not look like he's going for a rematch. He fancies defending his title next.

Still love Conor and he backs up what he normally says, he is humble and gracious in defeat which is why he's a role model, does so much for his fans but on the night he was beat,

He's not a great wrestler and that got shown also got shown he needs to tighten up his shots and select more range.....

Nate Diaz was always going to win if it went to ground and it did but also ate so many good shots,

Conor will smash up 145 and then hopefully fight RDA

From what I seen i thought that the weight made all the difference. McGregor hit him with lots of punches which resulting in the blood flowing everywhere in round 1. He never rocked Diaz or had him seriously hurt fron all these punches.....Diaz caught him with a few in round 2 and McGregor was all of sudden in trouble....it went to the deck and the naturally heavier guy won. The rise to fighting 25lb higher beat him. His punches at 145 have more effect. He has now fought 3 times at lightweight and once at welterweight and lost twice from those 4 fights...so a 50% win ratio suggests he should concentrate at 145. Was worthstaying up late to watch the match ups. Well done to Tate for beating Holm
