Every Damn Weekend

I look forward to getting a lay-in on weekends but now it's spring, I get no such joy. Just spent 45 minutes listening to a bird chirping away in a tree outside my house. I find it annoying as it's the most repetitive sound and drives me up the wall. Always prided myself on not having kids to ruin my weekends.

First it's the birds, then matey boy with his power tool, then screaming kids on a trampoline, then next door start hoovering their fake lawn...Sorry, needed a good rant

Ah I love the dawn chorus, one of the many reasons I prefer living in the country - I can listen to it for hours, never gets boring

But if it wakes you up it can be a pain in the arse I'm sure

You must get more variety in bird sound in country. London birds only have two or three different songs. The worst is the jewish dreidel bird. Don't know what bird it is but it puts the dreidel song in my head.
