So ladies do you prefer a guy to a be a builder type very cheeky happy go lucky laid back easy going, or do you go for a staid guy ordinary there when needed at the end of the phone etc.

Its an observation and chat i had recently with a female friend over dinner and its opened my eyes up to what women want in a guy.

I hate the "cheeky chappy", banter, thinking they're entertaining thing. I'm envisaging Robbie Williams, Olly Murs, James Cordon...it makes me want to vomit. Give me a slightly sarky cynic any day of the week.

I enjoy banter and sarcasm. Not too cheeky , as that ends up pissing me off if it's non stop. I like seriousness at the right time.

Having sat next to four computer programmers having dinner last night - couldn't help hearing some of their conversation. I wish at the end of the evening - there was such a thing as a Fab business card. I'd have handed it over with a cheeky wink and said you really need to join! There's a whole world out there.....

Builder or staid guy?

Hmmm. I think the world is rather wider than that.

And considerably less skewed.

It is rather like asking, "Would you have sex with me or a drugged out, HIV positive smelly fish?"

By the way, no answers to that, thankyou.

I tend to be drawn to those with a dry / slightly warped or sarcastic humour.

That like a bit of banter and can laugh at themselves.

I don't go for 'cheeky' types at all. They can make me feel quite uneasy.

Depends, if it's "cheeky" with irony and a knowing wink.. Perhaps.

If it's said with a worrying lack of, no.
