I find it impossible.. young child, housework, school runs, meal preparation, bath time ...

Suffering with very sore legs. Totally my own fault. Just sprayed my thighs with deep heat, lets hope it works

Nope, not at all. I have MS and should rest far more than I do, but like yourself OP, life never stops and neither can I (for very long anyway)

A xx

Titz Towers, North Notts

With no kids (sadly), I find it easy to rest; when I'm off I often spend the afternoon having a nap after reading for a hour or so.

I'm not very good at it either....and besides, if I stopped to rest who would do it all anyway? id just have to do twice as much to catch up

South West London / Surrey

I never used to be able to relax. It used to drive Mr B bonkers.

But I've gradually mastered the art of it and now rather enjoy doing nothing at times.

I'm having one of those days today.

I'm having a few hours (well between school hours) of not doing "grown up" . I'm under the duvet, on the sofa watching Forrest Gump, whilst eating malteasers.......feels awesome

County Durham

Epsom Salt Baths!!!!!

Best thing ever for a sore and achy body.

I'm excellent at resting, way too good at it to be fair.

Bedfordshire

Being a mum to a man child means if I'm not working, I can chill and do nothing. The only downside is the flat gets dusty

Oh and op my friend has spondulitis and to help her legs I bought her some body shop cooling leg gel and obviously doesn't get rid of the pain but she says it really soothes them.
