Do you mean that just because you have booked a hotel. Doesn't mean sex is a sure thing? X

No of course it isn't, its an agreement that you would like to have sex but it certainly isn't consent. Until you are in the situation and consent is given there are no guarantees

Meet in the hotel bar - then it's easier to walk away if there's no attraction.

It's not a green light though even if you meet in a hotel room. Nothing is a given.

Never done a hotel meet but then I also usually only play in clubs or have socials first to guage sexual attraction.

Even if you invite someone to your home, to meet you in a club or at a hotel, there should never be a sense of a guarantee of sex, things may change when you meet a person physically, it's an invitation to say that if it's right it will happen, but if not it won't.

Why would anyone bother to book a hotel room if there was a chance of no sex?

This is why we don't meet in hotels, feels like too much pressure.

Why on earth would you pay for a room for somebody you don't even know you want to have sex with?

That's just silly

If I was travelling 2-3 hours for a social I would book a hotel anyway, Either meet at the bar or another one, The only thing I would be sure of is that I would have somewhere to sleep that night

I love hotel meets, they are my fave type of meet but I have always met somebody before when I book a hotel, even if I haven't played with them before I've still met them so we know we are attracted to each other

Yup !! Think it's a bit silly and risky to book a hotel for a blind meet !!! Should have st least had a coffee before hand

Wherever I'm meeting I dont assume a green light for sex likewise whoever in my direction

If all sides are willing, wanting waiting for the green light then bingo hehe

Yes if they were staying in the hotel anyway like I do with work throughout the south/south west

Would love a social in the bar with anything else a huge bonus but not expected

I wouldn't expect anyone else to either.

You probably should have met beforehand in a neutral, no pressure situation. But even still if there's a change of heart no means no.

Well nothing should really be a green light for sex, unless there is a clear understanding of some sort beforehand...

As for travelling a few hours for a social... well sometimes it's good to have a little adventure
