Heard someone at work saying that the moon landings never happened. Was it all a hoax?

The whole world and his dog, especially the Russians, were monitoring the telemetry. I doubt the US would have been able to pull the wool over everyone's eyes and the Russians would have loved to have claimed it was all fake.

Some of the press release pics were faked though, which NASA later acknowledged.

There seem to be a lot of bits of spacecraft on the moon you can see through a telescope.
