so near and yet so far....

I leave Nottingham yesterday feeling great, travel to Kettering, feeling a bit sniffly, kettle hasn't even been put on before cold is making itself felt and I'm feeling rough...

Shame cos it spoilt an evening of fun...

Is someone above making sure I'm being angelic??

Hope you're all on the mend soon...

I started with a tickly cough yesterday afternoon, woke up this morning about 3 o'clock chilled to the bone cannot get warm, joints aching I'm stood inside with a coat and 3 other layers frozen. I need help I go on holiday tomorrow morning

. So not fair.

Feeling sick sucks, OP. I can completely empathise as I've been feeling awful all week. It's turned me into a whiny loser. I don't know why people put up with me.

I hope you feel better soon. Snuggle into some blankets and wait for it all to pass.

Just makes me wonder why no one has come up with a cure for the common cold.... Guaranteed to win the Nobel prize...
