it was bought with a whsmiths voucher for 49p and it was David Essex stardust 1974 I think.

First albums I had where the top of the pops albums and the bay city rollers but I didn't actually buy my first album till I had a Saturday job and I think it was a buddy holly one it might just have been called buddy holly

Well I grew up in the cassette/CD generation, so vinyl came afterwards for me. But my first purchase was a whole load of David Bowie original LPs that had been donated to a local charity shop about 10 years ago. All in good condition and being sold for £10. I made a larger donation as it didn't seem right to get such a good deal... wasn't I a good boy back then!
