Have you ever been to one, How did it go ?

Did people turn out they way you thought they might ?

I'm not sure If I would go to one myself, I cant remember half the people I went to school with or even their full names and getting asked the same questions over an over, "Why aren't you married" Why haven't you got children etc, I would probably leave after 10 minutes

Although it would be nice to see a few old faces

I went to mine last May!

Lovely to see people and natter! Also sad to see that most seemed so middle aged/old! There were more cardigans there than British home stores! It was lovely but I felt a little out of place! Xx

Glastonbury

I was dragged to one a few years ago by my oldest friend.

It was much as I expected - full of yokle eejits who had learnt nothing and forgotten nothing.

I amused myself by going from group to group telling outrageous lies... "Yes, I', just back from piloting oil tankers round the Med," to "I design notes for the Banks of England - take out a tenner from your wallet, that squiggle there, that's me!" to "Can't discuss it - very hush-hush."

There was one woman there who I dimly remembered from school. She'd been married, 3 kids, divorce, breakdown, came in to money...

We got on like a house on fire, ditched everyone else and went to another pub where she paid for everything and then got us a taxi home.

It wasn't a complete waste of time...

Edinburgh

Nooooo!

I kept in touch with the people I liked from school. No desire to go back and be judged by people I didn't know/like when I was a teenager.

I'm pretty anti-social on the whole though.

I always thought I'd go back to my high school reunion, but now that I'm living in the UK, I think it would be too much of a trek.

Most of the people I care about are working abroad and probably wouldn't be there anyway. I might just sneak back on some visit and say hi to my old teachers, though. They were nothing short of amazing.

I'd wanna see probably 20% of the people I was in school with, and I'm mates with the ones I liked the best anyway, wouldn't mind seeing old teachers again mind, and thank them

no matter

51 years since I left school I would be scared to go back I got fat and dont feel good about myself.

I am however back in touch with my best friend from senior school via FB .. good to talk about old times.Probably wouldnt recognise anyone now.

I hated school.

Anyone I want to keep in touch with, I still do. Otherwise I have no desire to stand there listening to people talk about their kids. Boring!

little house on the praire

Well I was always against them until last year and a few of us met up as we where all turning 50. We had a picnic in the park about 25 of us and it was bloody brilliant all the same the people I was closeto at school and we all looked bloody good on it even the lads.

We now have a facebook page and going to meet up every six months or so and do something together.

I really enjoyed it

I went to one and the nice ones turned up. It was a laugh. One person used it as an excuse to see her bit on the side and only stayed 30 mins. Lol
