Let's celebrate all things Welsh today

Although not Welsh myself, I have lived here for more than half my life

So it's welsh cakes, barra brith, cawl, laver bread and welsh rarebit at some point on the menu today, washed down with a pint of Brains or Purple Moose, with a Penderyn chaser

Happy St David's Day to all our Welsh friends.

Please please please know this though : a daffodil hat isn't a good look on an adult - ever!

Whether it's a sporting event or the Patron Saints Day .. Just don't do it!!

I went to a fancy dress as a traditional welsh girl when I was about 7 God knows why they dressed me in that as no welsh in our family anyway I won. There is a picture of me with my little fat legs hanging out the bottom of this short skirt
